The Traveler
Walking along side the open road
he travels by himself all alone
no place he can call home
he moves where ever the wind may roam
at sunset he settles down to rest
watching as day soon turns to night
something so beautiful he can't explain
and in the morning he must start again
as he travels he has no set destination
for what he does, there is no explanation
from place to place he does roam
for his sins he must atone
there are no sins for him to atone for
still he moves searching for something more
it's something in his soul
to find it that is his goal.
